Environment management policy for Ecopack Ltd.

In order to integrate environment management into the management of our activities, we at Ecopack are now developing an ecological strategy which will enable us to examine problems closely and systematically, to include the solutions to the problems into our investment plans, and to foresee any possible problems. We realize that in this way only we can guarantee answers to new demands which are assigned to the limited liability company Ecopack by the joint-stock company Comet.

Ecopack Ltd. binds itself:

1. to continue producing packing material out of environmentally friendly materials;

2. that environment management will remain part of the company’s plans in future, with the objective to permanently sustain the minimal negative impacts on the environment;

3. to continue preventing the pollution of the environment to the highest possible degree while taking into account the environmental legislation;

4. to continue planning our production technology so that the environment will be affected as little as possible after the production, use and disposal of our products;

5. to continue improving the working conditions of our employees, and to carry out educating and informing our employees (about ecology and other affairs);

6. to continuously improve our production process with the objective to rationalize the use of basic raw materials and to optimize the technological refuse that is made in the process.

The environment management policy, which is available to public, and with which all employees as well as those working for, or in the name of, our organisation are acquainted, provides a framework for setting up, surveying and realizing our outlined and performance objectives.
